Captain Billy Landing
It’s 67km from Bramwell Junction to the turn off. From the Captain Billy turn off on the right heading north, it is another 28km and 233 humps. You will drive through beautiful rainforest and coastal heath.
It is named after an Aboriginal from the 1800’s of the same name.
This area is in the Healthlands Resources Reserve so a permit is needed to camp. And no domestic animals are allowed.
From February to November you get the east coast trade winds. It means that camping can be difficult as the winds get pretty strong.
